Cultivating inner pleasantness

Cultivating inner pleasantness.

Practice-oriented introduction to the eightfolded path of Yoga as outlined by Sage Patanjali.

Imagine, there would be more than Asana.
Imagine your yoga practice would lead you to inner quietness and peacefulness. – Not through exhaustion. But through consciously applied external and internal practices that all fall under the heading of Yoga – that are Yoga.
Imagine a Yoga practice that would not start and stop on your yoga mat. But, by the means of inner disciplines, would unfold throughout all of your life’s activities. And would align your life with Yoga.

We are obviously not going to reach this point in a five-hour workshop. But, we always need to start somewhere.

Bringing you on track, widening the scope, putting Asana practice into perspective by exploring and valuing other limbs and techniques of Yoga. Learning to practice Asana in a way that allows for the subtler techniques to naturally unfold. – Instead of Asana consuming most of the physical, mental and time-resources we have at hand.

Voilà, the idea behind this open-ended workshop series.

We will start our journey in November, 2023. Adding small bits and pieces each time we meet, every two or three months. With the idea in mind to gradually and incrementally explore and experience at least parts of the vastness of the Ocean called Yoga.
